Frequently Asked Questions

Q) What program do you use to make wallpapers?

I use Paint Shop Pro 7.0 to make all of my wallpapers. It’s less expensive than Photoshop, which I know can do more, but it’s fairly user friendly and suits my purposes for now.

Q) What program do you use for your websites?

I use Microsoft FrontPage to create my sites but also do a lot of coding by hand.  It’s extremely easy to use but it helps to know some html.

Q) What program do you use to make your videos?

I use Windows Movie Maker which is a free program that comes with Windows XP.

Q) Do you take requests?

I usually don’t take requests, but I don’t mind suggestions. It’s all about inspiration for me when it comes to creating wallpapers. I have to be inspired by an actor, movie, TV show, or an actual picture for me to feel like I can do justice to something I create.

Q) Can I display your wallpapers on my website?

I don’t mind anyone displaying my wallpapers on their site and as long as you ask permission first, provide a link back to my site and do not under any circumstances hotlink to them.  They must be uploaded to your own server. And please do not alter them in anyway.

Q) Will you display other people's wallpapers on your site?

No, at this time this is a site for displaying my own work.

Q) What kind of filters do you use on your wallpapers?

To get the smooth, glowing kind of look I use the Aetherize filter which is part of the Flaming Pear plug-in. I also use Harry Filters quite often to colorize my wallpapers.

Q) How do you make wallpapers?

There’s no simple answer to this question.  Practice, practice and more practice. See the Graphic Tips and the Blend Tutorial under Extras for some helpful hints for beginners.
